Job Description: Oil Painting Express is currently hiring two unpaid college students to receive academic credit for the position of Social Media Marketing Intern. In this position you will work with cutting edge marketing strategies and gain first-hand experience in being part of a team, and working independently. Candidates must be tech savvy and very familiar with social media: twitter, facebook, myspace, stumbleupon and more. A marketing or PR background is preferred. Graduates of internship will be equipped with self-starting experience implementing aggressive online marketing strategies. Interns will be held accountable for deliverables. Some core responsibilities will be: 1.Leveraging online media (Twitter, Facebook, Meetup and other social utilities) to spread the word. 2.Build relationships with perspective marketing partners. 3.Assist in PR efforts 4.Conduct competitive research 5.Supporting company blog and virally spreading posts.
